- I worked as a change delivery lead for a three-year transformation program for the asset liability management function of Barclays Financial Services. This was a multi-year program with a phased approach. Phase 1 is to get the data sourcing streamlined from authoritative data sources to a centralized big data enterprise data platform. Move away from the legacy SQL Server storage system due to space and performance constraints. The second objective was to move away from the vendor application for the interest rate risk in the banking book model engine to an in-house Python-based equivalent model. The third objective was to move away from the asset liability regulatory reporting system and migrate to a strategic solution to remediate the end-user-developed reporting application to a Kyvos-based reporting solution.
- Successfully delivered each project, which spanned across three years, managing three different teams from data sourcing to data hydration (curation), to model development, and reporting solutions.
