Project 1 - Redshift to Snowflake migration (Insurance domain)

Tools and Technology: SQL, Snowflake, IICS

• Worked the migration of Redshift datasets into Snowflake, orchestrated through Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Designed and implemented a reusable stored procedure template for SCD1 data loads in Snowflake, converting legacy IICS mappings into Snowflake-compatible logic.
• Optimized and refactored SQL code to ensure performance efficiency and full compatibility with Snowflake’s architecture.
• Converted IICS taskflows and mappings into Snowflake stored procedures and tasks, enabling data pipelines to run seamlessly without IICS.
• Performed data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and completeness post-migration.

Project 2 - Data Mordenisation (Insurance domain)

Tools and Technology: Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL server, Striim, S3

• Assisted in designing an enhanced architecture for data flow, optimizing performance and enabling greater client benefits.
• Modernized the existing on-premises pipeline by leveraging Databricks and writing optimized Spark code.
• Ingested data using Striim application and TQL scripts from source i.e. SQL server to target's Raw layer i.e. Databricks bronze layer.
• Created a data lake having medallion architecture having three layers like bronze , silver and gold.
• Analyzing and documenting the findings of the existing system’s architecture.

Project 1 - SGWS phase 2 GCP to AWS Migration Tools and Technology: Amazon Redshift, SQL, Sql Workbench ,S3

• Worked in the migration of existing machine learning models from GCP to AWS in the SGWS Phase 2 project.
• Developed stored procedures to generate training data for ML models in Redshift.
• Analyzed and validated generated data to ensure correctness, comparing it against GCP datasets for consistency.
• Conducted unit testing on all developed scripts to ensure compatibility within the AWS environment.
• Optimized the SQL code to reduce the time according to client’s guidelines.
• Documented various processes and use cases to ensure project clarity and maintainability.
