• Perform the start-up or shutdown of assigned plant and facilities according to approved operating procedures and general instructions.
• Monitor operating conditions and make in-process adjustments either at the control board or within the plant to ensure safe and efficient process operation.
• Maintain equipment logbooks and operation log sheets.
• Respond to emergency situations by taking necessary shutdown or process adjustment actions to restore normal operating conditions.
• Make regular inspection of plant facilities to ensure the plants correct functioning.
• Providing assistance in plant upsets to Plant Manager.
• PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) & Risk Assessment.
• Responsible for Loading and unloading of cryogenic tankers.
• Ensure the quality of Products- (Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen).
• Preparation of production reports.
• SAP software entries for customer billing.
• Co-ordination with maintenance teams (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) for carrying out maintenance jobs.
• Regularly follow 5S system.
• Initiates maintenance requests for the operating facilities that the role is responsible for within the assigned operations center.
• Good understanding of Cryogenic operations, Centrifugal Compressors, Adsorbers, expanders, Centrifugal pumps, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns, Cryogenic pumps.
• Good understanding and interpretation of PFD’s, P&ID’s, trips & Interlocks, equipment data sheets.
• Field rounds and field activities.
• Implements work tasks in accordance with the operating plan for the assigned facilities, executing schedules in a timely manner while also maintaining the required levels of quality in order to contribute to the achievement of production.
