Project – Ireland Dmaap (Data Movement As Platform)

• Led a team of 9 developers specializing in Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, and DevOps. Served as both Technical Manager and People Manager, providing critical inputs on environment-specific and architectural considerations to ensure successful project completion.
• A critical bug was identified and fixed, allowing billing files that were initially expected to be delayed by a month to be processed within the same month. This effort resulted in savings of 100 million euros and was appreciated by the technology head.
• Saved $200k through a deep understanding of IE architecture and implementing changes in the ETL pipeline in such a way that GCP usage stayed within budget by setting up budget alerts and promoting best practices.
• As a Platform Engineering Specialist, I created new infrastructure to meet evolving requirements and modified existing platforms to enhance performance and security. I conducted vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with Vodafone standards and possess a deep understanding of the Vodafone Neuron platform, which is utilized by all local markets.
• Proficient in scripting (bash, python) for automation and infrastructure provisioning. Experienced with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform) for defining and managing resources.
• Automated tasks on GCP and On-Prem environments, significantly reducing manual efforts. Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized technologies (Docker, Kubernetes Operators).
• Deep understanding of GCP services, managing infrastructure including Cloud SQL, GKE, Cloud Storage, Data Proc, Cloud Composer, IAM, etc.
• Leveraged cloud logging to establish alerting policies for handling abnormalities/issues. Created business-centric dashboards using Looker and Splunk.
• Implemented end-to-end connectivity from On-Prem to GCP. Established SRE capabilities to enhance customer experience by managing and maintaining SLA, SLI, and SLO.

• Project - Modernization of EAI application on IBM MQ to Kubernetes and Micro-service Architecture
