In my role within Portfolio Operations, I manage a broad range of tasks including security setup, data management, pricing, and corporate actions. Key responsibilities include:

• Security and Pricing Management: Setting up securities and pricing as per ad-hoc requests from internal teams using BNY Mellon’s accounting and trading tools. This includes updating key dates (Ex-date, Pay dates), rates, and corporate action types in BNY tools, and addressing any discrepancies in cash dividends, rates, dates, and currencies.
• Data Validation and Adjustment: Monitoring fixed income securities and equity prices, validating them against sources like Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, and IDC. This involves updating LIBOR rates, managing MSCI price discrepancies, and performing cash adjustments to resolve TLM breaks.
• Tool and System Management: Regularly updating SWAP prices, performing index and future setup, and validating prices in various tools. Ensuring accurate setup and pricing for equity, indices, futures, and fixed income securities. Managing SharePoint for new security setups and pricing, and executing daily start-of-the-day pricing by verifying corporate actions.
• Exception Handling and Monitoring: Clearing missing price exceptions, reviewing security setups, and managing data flows in BNY Mellon internal tools . Overseeing performance monitoring in Pace, Sage Bara, and Sage Global to ensure accurate data flow.
• Training and Team Management: Training new team members and onshore clients on processes and tasks. Additionally, handling team management tasks including preparing return-to-office trackers, monthly KPI records, MIS reports, and daily volume counts.

My role demands a high level of precision and efficiency in managing complex data and processes to support seamless portfolio operations.

As part of the Global Income Services (Income COE) team, I am responsible for the comprehensive management of interest and dividend payments across both US and non-US markets. Key duties include:

• Claim Processing and Reconciliation: Analyzing and reconciling client claims by setting up claims for failed trades, claiming income portions from various counterparties, and ensuring timely payments. This involves working with clients across APAC, the European Union, the Middle East, and Australia.
• Income Analysis and Research: Reviewing and researching income details with reference to holdings, rates, and security types via SWIFT. Assessing the impact of failed trades on income and processing an income (interest/dividend) accordingly.
• Validation and Agreement: Validating claim entitlements from counterparties based on market rules and providing necessary agreements to brokers.
• Cash Visibility and Payment Processing: Ensuring 99% global cash visibility by managing payment modes including MT202, MT599, I-cash MT202, Instruclite, and SPO.
• Reporting: Preparing and publishing daily, weekly, and monthly client reports for management, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information.

My role demands precision in processing, a deep understanding of market entitlements, and effective communication to support global income operations.
