- Provided constant flow of communication and effective coordination to ensure patient care and quarterly follow-up appointments mandated by Department of Energy to be completed.
- Ensured the regularly scheduled appointments for mandated data collections were done at each dispensary sight where the exposed population resided whether in the RMI or in the U.S.
- Logged completion of patient visits, prescriptions filled, number of mandated tests i.e. mammograms and lab tests performed, and number of deaths that occur each quarter for the purpose of compiling a complete and informative quarterly and annual report to the U.S. Department of Energy and to the Government of The Republic of The Marshall Islands.
- Attended community meetings at each Hawaii Island location where DOE patients were tested to update the patients on any program changes.
- Careful and elaborate coordination with Marshall Islands and Honolulu DOE staff to ensure participation of exposed population at that location for quarterly community meetings.
- PowerPoint presentations were prepared with the mandated medical details collected in a written quarterly and annual report to update government officials on the health of the exposed population.
- Travel to the RMI occasionally required to ensure the completion of mandated medical exams or to ensure smooth transition of reports from our office to the medical doctors who presented on the health of the exposed population.
