PROJECT-1: ADAS - MAN FRONT CAMERA TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION SYSTEM (MAY 2025 to Present)

Project Description: This project focuses on an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature that detects and recognizes traffic signs using a front-facing camera. The system processes real-time video input and identifies signs such as speed limits, warnings, and restrictions, to assist drivers in safe driving.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzed system and software requirements related to TSR functionality and ADAS features.
  • Designed and developed detailed test cases and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Performed bench-level testing for the front camera-based TSR system.
  • Validated detection and recognition of traffic signs under different conditions, such as day/night scenarios, varying speeds, and weather conditions (rain, fog, low visibility).
  • Verified system behavior for different traffic sign categories: speed limit signs, prohibitory signs (no entry, no overtaking), and warning signs.
  • Conducted functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
  • Performed ECU flashing using tools (USB, ADB, Fastboot, FOTA) for software updates.
  • Validated CAN signal communication between the ADAS ECU and the instrument cluster.

PROJECT-2: CLUSTER_HYUNDAI SCARIA (Aug 2023 – May 2025)

Project Description: The CLUSTER_HYUNDAI SCARIA project focuses on the development and validation of the Instrument Cluster system for Hyundai vehicles. The cluster is responsible for displaying critical vehicle information, such as speed, RPM, warning indicators, tell-tales, gear position, fuel level, temperature, ADAS alerts, and driver notifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzed customer requirements, functional specifications, and system requirements for instrument cluster features.
  • Created and executed manual test cases based on system requirements and test specifications.
  • Performed functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and system validation.
  • Validated cluster functionalities such as: Speedometer, Tachometer, Fuel Gauge, Temperature Gauge, Warning Tell-tales, Gear Indications, Trip Information, and ADAS alerts and notifications.
  • Performed CAN signal validation using CAN tools like CANoe, CANalyzer.
  • Conducted bench testing and ECU-level validation using automotive test setups.
  • Verified diagnostic functionalities using UDS protocols and diagnostic tools.
  • Performed ECU flashing through USB, ADB, Fastboot, and FOTA methods.
  • Logged and tracked defects using defect management tools like JIRA, ALM.
  • Coordinated with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Performed regression testing after bug fixes and software releases.
  • Prepared test execution reports and validation summary reports.
  • Participated in requirement reviews, defect review meetings, and status discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Validated HMI/UI behavior as per customer expectations and design guidelines.
  • Supported vehicle-level testing and issue verification during integration phases.
