Title: Electrical Hybrid   Vehicle Powertrain System (EHV) Gen3, Gen3Evo - INV, Gen3Evo –DCDC

Tested features: Module Testing, HIL and Integration

Tools used: TPT, UDE, Ascet, ECU Test, INCA, ALM, AEEE, ETAS Lab Drive,   Canoe

Role: Verification and Validation

Customer: BMW, Nissan, VW

Project Description:

● Electric Hybrid Vehicles use both fuel combustion engine as well as an electric source (Battery) as source of energy.

● The Electric source is a high voltage battery (~400V) which produces a Direct current. It is converted to AC with the help of an Inverter and delivers the required power to wheels using PMSM modeling.

● .It also consists of a DCDC Converter which step-down the High voltage (~400V) to Low voltage (~12V) and stores it in a battery which acts as power source for various other electronic equipment’s within the vehicle

There are 3 Levels for the software:

Level 1. Application Software (Driving Functions & Components monitoring) Level 2: Monitoring Level 1 software functionality

Level 3: Monitoring the hardware (Microcontrollers)

In case of any malfunction,

Level 1 software alarms the user using the Safe State and Availability request. Level 2 software re-checks the validity of the request.

Level 3 software monitors the hardware whether it’s working as expected or not.

Responsibilities:

➢ Regression analysis summary Approval (If Regression Testing) Controlling of test execution

Tracking and documentation of regression tests due to Change Requests (CR’s)

➢ Controlling of tests performed by subcontractors

➢ Document releases.

➢ Monitoring of the test specification process

➢ Assignment of re-test CR’s to test level

➢ Monitoring of test execution.

➢ Consolidate the test reports from all test centers to one summary report with a release recommendation for the current delivery.(Test Summary Report)

➢ Ensuring Re-Test CRs are in correct state.

➢ Creating Design Verification Report.


Project 6:

Title: Diabolo Dual clutch Transmission

Tested features: Module in loop Testing (MIL), Smoke

Testing: Unit Testing,Vehicle   Test

Tools used: MATLAB, Simulink, Excel simulation tool, SVN, Polarian, Canape, MLT

Role: Validation Lead
