Crane Operator / Maintainer and JP
Umm Shaif Super Complex (USSC) ADNOC Platform.
As a Crane Operator/Maintainer and Job Performer (JP), I am responsible for operating and maintaining cranes, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations and preparing the required permits for the tasks. My duties include:
- Operating cranes to lift and move equipment, supplies, and personnel.
- Following established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conducting pre-operational checks on cranes and reporting any issues.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on cranes, such as lubricating and replacing parts.
- As a JP (Job Performer) and using the E-WMS, have the responsibility for preparing permits for task required.
- Assisting in scheduling and performing major crane overhauls.
- Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Participating in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Reporting any safety incidents or concerns to management.
- Collaborating with other crew members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
- Providing guidance and training to junior crew members.
- Maintaining accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Submitting reports to management as required.
- Valid crane operator certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of crane operations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with crane maintenance software and systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
- Successfully operated and maintained cranes without incident
- Implemented a preventative maintenance program that reduced crane downtime
- Trained and mentored junior crew members in crane operations and maintenance
