Projects:
W8EXP and W8ECI – This project will help in operation efficiency of the account opening and account maintenance process by moving the acceptance of the W8EXP and W8ECI form pertaining to foreign income earned by individuals or business entities from the backend system manually to directly receiving the same information via the front end as part of account opening or later which is then passed to Tax form team to verify and certify the details.
W8/W9 Disregarded Entity – This project will help in the operation efficiency of the account opening and account maintenance process by building in capability to disregard the tax liability of the account holder to another individual or entity based on the type of the account being opened. What this would mean to accept the W8 or W9 Tax form for the regarded individual or entity to whom the tax liability has been passed.
Central Trade Matching – This project is a regulatory requirement to capture the essential data points on the Fixed Income product trades and support the capability for cancel non-reportable.
Complex Options Order Processing – This project is an on-going one to build the capability to accept Custom Strategy order which is not same the other option strategies which exist. The Custom Strategy is an all option or option with Equity as the 1st leg order. The order will then pass through the rule engine for validation before it is sent to the market for execution.

Projects

Sun Fircosoft – Project to meet the compliance requirement mandate for regular screening of individual and entities against the referential blacklist. This was initially carried out using a Sun system named ‘Safewatch’. As part of migrating from Safewatch to Fircosoft application, there was requirement to build new interfaces to feed data to Fircosoft application from compliance mandate screening.
Client Onboarding – This was a large programme to onboard a one of the premium clients in the market on to BNP custody and fund administration platform. There were various streams like unit pricing, fund accounting, tax, registry and reporting etc.…
Client Request/Enhancements – These are small enhancement request ranging from improvement operational process to new reporting requirement.

There were multiple trade processing platforms and this programme aimed to deliver a Unified Trade Processing system for institutional and wealth investors. There were various streams/projects undertaken under this programme, starting from trade capture, validation, enrichment, and figuration (VEF), Trade Aggregation for Settlement, Trade Booking, Exception management, Trade Confirmation for an investor, FX Processing etc.
