  • Sphere heading the implementation of Strategic Project for Sulzer Chemtech to double the business by 2028 - Ambition 2028+ for INME region
  • Product development to serve newer markets - 3 products released during this tenure and few more under development

With the acquisitions of technology companies in the Up - Stream sector, Sulzer Chemtech decided to raise a business vertical in Sulzer India to handle global projects for the process plants in Up - Stream and Chemical sectors.

I was given the responsibility to recruit the team and build the process for Proposals, Procurement, Execution, Quality requirements etc. Within the given 3 years time frame we were able to bag in orders worth 10.2 M in Euro.

  • Managed time efficiently in order to complete all tasks within deadlines.
  • Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance.
  • Implementation of business level strategy for INME and Lean principles in for increase in efficiency with minimum resources
  • Was part of Global Management team for the up - stream business

Head - Project Managment & Logistics

  • During this role was responsible for order fulfillment (Revenue Generation) and was responsible for monthly sales forecast, profitability, inventory management, site support.
  • I was also tasked to raise the teams for Global Cost Estimation Group which was responsible for pre - sales support.
  • With the logistics team; we were able to establish global tie - ups with freight forwarders resulting in saving of logistics cost upto 7% directly increasing the bottom line for the projects
  • I was also tasked with the execution of the INDEX - II project which was raising a new factory to facilitate best cost manufacturing for the Swiss Head Quarters. With the excellent project management skills we were able to save 22% of the costs and also achieved LEED Gold Award for the Admin Building in the year 2012 when sustainability was not even a buzz word.
  • I was also the key account manager for our global clients - Exxon & Shell for India & Middle East region.
  • Under my guidance my team won many execution awards from the client.
  • I was responsible for product development for manufacturing at India Factory for global supply chain management. I was also tasked for the product approvals & factory approvals for clients viz. Shell, Exxon, BAPCO, ADNOC, ARAMCO, etc. to name a few.
  • I was responsible for the global projects for Shah Gas Expansion, Shell Prelude Project, Expansion Projects for Reliance, IOCL Panipat, IOCL Paradip, etc. to name a few.
  • I was responsible for setting up the processes for Inter Company Processes and transfer pricing requirements in line with the Indian Regulations
