Project title: Optimization and Development of Nepafenac-Loaded PLGA Coated with Hyaluronic Acid Nanoparticles to Treat Posterior Uveitis via the Sub-Conjunctival Route:
Summary : In-vitro and ex-vivo assessments: The development of nanoparticle-based drug delivery has yielded opportunities to address and treat posterior uveitis. Characteristic features of nanoparticles, such as particle size (nm) and surface zeta potential (mV), help in the targeting and stabilization of systems. The nanoparticles showed biphasic behavior with an initial burst and sustained release up to 12 h of study. The corneal flux experiment showed many-fold enhancements in permeation across the goat cornea.
