Nandini V. Iyer

Accomplished educator and researcher with 29 years of teaching and 6 years of research experience bridging Engineering and Chemistry, driving innovation in teaching, research, and student development. Proven leadership expertise, having led Applied Sciences and Humanities Department for 5 years, MBA Department for 3 years, and founded COEP Wellness Centre, besides starting initiatives, and mentoring students. Recognized for teaching excellence with the 2013 COEP STAR AWARD for Best Teacher. Research focuses on conducting polymers, environmental chemistry, and material science, with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Recipient of the COEP STAR AWARD-2013 for the "BEST TEACHER" of COEP.
• Won First Prize for presenting a research paper on “Challenges faced by women in pursuing their Doctoral studies” in National Conference “We Meet” 24-26th September 2010 organized by COEP Technological University.
• University rank holder during Post Graduation (1992 – 1994).
• Recipient of Mumbai merit scholarship during Post Graduation (1992-1994).
• Awarded the “Best Student Award” of 2006-2007 of Smt Kashibai Navale Institute of Education during B.Ed course.
• Initiated the COEP Cultural Festival "Impressions" in 2016 and was the Faculty Advisor till 2018-19. Invited and interacted with celebrities like Vikram Gokhale, Sachin Khedkar, Krishna Kumar(KK), and Sumit Raghavan.This activity helped in the overall development of students.
• Organised the "Student Excellence and Learning Program by Art of Living", in association with NPIU.
• Organised an activity for MBA and other students, the DEEP C TALKS by CXOs(CEOs, CMOs,COOs,CTOs ).
• Was Faculty Advisor -Cultural for 12 years and initiated many activities with the support of the students.
