Team Profile - Corporate & Investment Banking - Australia & New Zealand Fund Accounting team responsible to deliver NAV for Superannuation, managed funds to clients in the region on daily/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis

1. Validation of NAV & its components and releasing unit prices to clients (T/T+1 basis)

2. Analysis of corporate actions of securities held by fund on real time basis & understanding its financial impact on funds value.

3. Providing all in investment fund service to client with highest quality.

4. Analysis of investment portfolio & its returns to validate the movement in NAV on daily basis.

5. Working on real time basis to understand impacts of uncleared trades (all kinds of securities - FI/DS/Swaps/OS/etc)

6. Lasing with client in ANZ & our counterparts in APAC to deliver accurate NAV on timely basis.

• Preparation of Pension fund Financial accounts, cash flows, membership reconciliations and trustee reports for clients based in UK and Ireland on timely manner (monthly/quarterly/yearly depending on clients requirements)
• End to end accounting including continuous ledger scrutiny, posting of accruals and prepaid expenses on quarterly/yearly accounts.
• ONS Return filing (United Kingdom Pension fund regulation requirement to file quarterly income ‚expenses, assets and liabilities).
• Compliance with SORP (Statements of Recommended Practices of UK and Ireland)
• Preparation of Investment workings and accounting for pension funds, income and expenses on investments and its disclosures.
• Accounting for pension payments/death benefits as per retirement plans of members of fund.
• Audit support for accounts prepared and for all the queries till financials are signed by trustees.
• Co ordination with Investment managers, client managers and admin managers well in advance to get all the data required to prepare the accounts.
• Clientele worked upon: Santander UK pension Group (13 Billion GBP fund), Thysenkrupp Group UK, GKN UK, Del Monte, Toyota ( handled 20 fund account's simultaneously in a year)

• Assisting team of professionals in Internal Financial Control assignment of Kotak Life Insurance, Its sister concern Phoenix Asset Reconstruction Company.
• Internal Audit of Active Pharma Manufacturing Company (Suparna Chemicals Limited) from stage of planning till report preparation.
• Assistance in Internal Audit of Container Freight Station handling company based in Jawahar Lal Nehru Port, and review of all its operations.

• Handling Operations of Company – Shipment follow up’s with customs agents of various countries for getting raw materials for production, communication with supplier to track shipment till it reaches production factory, Handling of Shipment for sales to its sister concerns in USA,UAE & UK.
• Getting Quotes from suppliers, Transport agents and getting it approved from management, checking Barcode registration of GS1 for products, UAE food authority registrations, FDA Prior notices for shipments, and renewal of licenses.
• Follow up with accounting agencies for compliances of USA, UK, UAE & Europe, Accounting of transactions, and Preparation of weekly and monthly Management Information reports.

• Statutory Audits of NGO's (Catalyst for Social Action & TRRAIN) and Section 8 Companies (Reference to Companies Act,2013), Investment Portfolio management firm (Roopa Venkatkrishnan), Fashion Industry (Gaurang Shah), Statutory Audit from initial stage till the reporting, finalizing and filing of Audit reports.
  Internal Audit of Pharmaceutical company (Sun Pharma), Hotel Industry ( Ras Resorts) detailed reporting on each area of audit and reporting to the management.
• Income tax Return Filings of the High Net worth Individuals having investment portfolios, NGO's
• TDS Quarterly Returns filing, GST Audit Finalizations and review of monthly GST Returns, FCRA Annual Returns filing of NGO's and quarterly filings.
• Tax Litigations and Scrutiny of Individuals and Companies (Hindustan Unilever Limited) and filing and compilation of data requested by tax department.

• Full Involvement in Implementation of Accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Business central 365) for Canada based client and was successfully live as per planned. Worked with business development & IT personnel of project implementation and testing of data processing, i.e. testing various transaction into system and checking the output whether the system is generating accurate results considering basic fundamentals of
  accounting.
• Testing of tax configuration’s to comply with Canadian tax laws
• Guiding Client on how system works and preparation of Manuals for documentation of data entry of various transaction in system.
• Payroll Consulting – The company had inbuilt payroll software (People Apex) for which my part was to update the development team for changes in various statutory compliance like Income tax i.e. providing developer team with business logic on how system should

(Involvement in commencement to finalization of audit and preparation of audit reports)
