  • Overview: The project aims for digital transformation of printable workflow to cloud based services. Workflow is pre-press, operations performed before printing and process of creating printable-layout.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Actively participated in writing code using coding standards, developing key features, and solving complex technical problems alongside the development team.
  • Developed RESTful .NET Core APIs using design patterns and SOLID principles from scratch to deployment, with 85% unit test cases (XUnit) and Sonar coverage.
  • Designed and developed the backend application with a microservices-based architecture using .NET Core with Clean Architecture, and communication between microservices was handled using event-driven architecture with AWS EventBridge.
  • Integrated various AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, EventBridge, and Step Functions using the AWS SDK in a shared .NET library, centralizing all AWS-related code. Custom wrapper methods were created for each service with the required customizations, making it easy to use these services across different microservices.
  • Developed an authorizer Lambda function that integrates with API Gateway, which allows us to authenticate access tokens using Cognito, add a custom token with an additional header for role-based authorization, and ensure secure access to backend services without the need to manage dedicated servers.
  • Implemented secure configuration management using Parameter Store to manage sensitive parameters, integrated with AWS KMS for encrypting secrets, ensuring secure and compliant handling of confidential information.
