Scope and Responsibilities:
- The project consists of design of water supply components for four towns i.e., Yadgiri, Shahapur, Shorpur and Kembhavi
- Preparation of detail hydraulic design of Raw water supply components i.e., Jack well, connecting pipe, Intake well, Raw water pumps, Raw water rising main
- Preparation of hydraulic model of distribution network for Shorpur town
- Preparation of hydraulic model of Pure Water feeder main from WTP to OHT for Shahapur, Shorpur and Kembhavi town
- Preparation of GIS maps for same above
- Preparation of estimate for Kembhavi town
- Responsible for to get technical approval by client.
Project Name: Preparation of design and estimate of Pathrgaon lift irrigation scheme.
Client: Chief Engineer, water irrigation department, Amravati
Scope and Responsibilities:
- This project aims at providing water for irrigation purpose at farms.
- The total area covered in this project was 2463 Ha.
- I have carried out hydraulic design of raw water and booster pumps and preparation of hydraulic model for pumped pipe distribution network approximately network length of 102 km.
Project Name: Doddaballapura Water Supply Scheme
Client: Karnataka Water Supply and Drainage Board, Bangalore
Scope and Responsibilities:
- The project included demand calculation, model building and analysis of model with pressure control. Total length of distribution network was 210 Km. Prasad has analyzed and designed distribution network.
- He has analyzed zonal performance for all 8 zones. Pressure reducing valves were used to maintain pressure between 10 m to 20 m in each DMA.
Project Name: Bhalki Water Supply Scheme
Client: Karnataka Water Supply and Drainage Board, Gulbarga
Scope and Responsibilities:
- The scope of the project involved providing infrastructure design for Water Distribution System for Bhalki town. Prasad was assigned to forecast population and demand calculation, design of zonal water distribution network using EPANET software. Bhalki water network has divided into 5 zones. He has also worked on mass balance for elevated service reservoirs and prepared zonal maps in QGIS software and prepared detailed project report.
Project Name: Chitradurga Water Supply Scheme
Client: Karnataka Water Supply and Drainage Board, Bangalore
Scope and responsibilities:
- The project included Demand calculation, model building and zonal water network models of all seven zones in Chitradurga city. I have designed models of all seven zones having DMAs in the range of 3-6Nos. till date.I have performed hydraulic assessment, analysis and proposed engineering works. The software used for hydraulic modeling was WaterGEMS.
- I have also completed zonal performance assessment of seven zones which included producing reports based on analysis of network pressures (mean, maximum and minimum).
Project Name: Design of Sewerage Network of Hesseraghatta, Bengaluru North, Bengaluru
Client: Bengaluru Water Supply and Sanitation Board (BWSSB)
Scope and Responsibilities:
- The project includes detailed design of sewerage network of about 49km in length serving population of about 28000 souls.
- Me and my project team worked as consultants for design of sewerage network and other civil units such as intermediate sewage pumping stations, sewage treatment plant etc. and electro- mechanical designs such as pumping machinery and pumping mains etc. Design of the network was carried out using QGIS, Microsoft Excel and SewerGEMS
Project Name: Design of Sewerage Network of Rajgurunagar Municipal Council, Pune

- The project includes detailed design of sewerage network of about 45km in length serving population of about 30000 souls.
- Me and my team worked as consultants for design of sewerage network of about 50 kms in length and other civil units such as intermediate sewage pumping stations, sewage treatment plant etc. and electro-mechanical designs such as pumping machinery and pumping mains etc. Design of the network was carried out using QGIS, Microsoft Excel and SewerGEMS.
