Project Name : Nomura Holdings (Investment Banking Project)

Client Name : Nomura Holdings , Tokyo Japan.

Description:

The project focused on testing and validating the performance, functionality, and compliance of a comprehensive Investment Banking Platform designed to handle various financial operations, including trading, asset management, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting. The platform was responsible for processing high-volume transactions, managing client portfolios, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations like MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, and Basel III.

As a QA Engineer, I worked closely with development, business, and compliance teams to ensure that the platform operated reliably, securely, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. The project involved a mix of manual and automated testing to verify the accuracy of financial computations.

Skill Set/Tools: Testing, Automation Testing (Selenium Web-Driver, Java, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Eclipse IDE), Functional Testing, API Testing(using POSTMAN Tool), Database Testing, Defect Tracking (using Jira), Excel, Figma.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Based on FSD prepare Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test-cases and update as per review points.
• Execute Test cases and perform Functional, Non-functional, Regression, Cross browser, Mobile as well as Web Application testing, Security testing on application.
• Perform Security testing using ZAP tool and share reports with the development team.
• Defect tracking using PM, Mantis and Bugzilla Tool.
• Client co-ordination and working closely with the project team (DEV, QA, and PM)
• Prepare Defect Summary Report, User Manual and Release note and share with Client and Stakeholder
• Provide timely reports for Administrative Purposes..
• Create Automation Framework for Stable features and prepared Automation Script using Selenium Web-Driver, TestNG, Maven and Java.

2) Project Name : Mobile Banking Application .

Client Name : Saraswat Bank.

Description :

This project involved testing the integration of a payment gateway with the bank’s core banking system to support online payments through credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and net banking. The goal was to ensure secure, fast, and reliable payment transactions while complying with industry standards such as PCI DSS.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Understanding and analyzing the requirements.
• Followed Agile methodology.
• Understand and Refer to the Test Plan.
• Interacting with BA for any clarification about the requirement.
• Identifying the Test scenarios, Designing test cases, Execution of the test cases.
• Participated in the Test case review.
• Performed Functional testing, Regression testing, Retesting & Sanity testing.
• Conducted API Testing using POSTMAN Tool.
• Reporting and managing using the JIRA tool.
• Attending the scrum meeting.
• Used JIRA for defect tracking and reporting.
