JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Front Office
  • Managing a team of 30 members to ensure the delivery of high standard to guest
  • To work towards the achieving business objectives and service excellence. To maintain and improve operational standards through effective people management and utilizing all selling techniques to maximize hotel profits.
  • Preparing monthly production report (compiling all guest booking booked through different channels/sources and categorizing into various heads like FIT/Groups/Conferences/Holiday Plan/OTA/Packages etc)
  • Preparing comparison report on a monthly basis (report stating competitors figures).
  • Monitoring Room Inventory control, Open and Sold out dates (through STAAH Channel Manager) in order to maximize room revenue and demonstrate the concept of yield management.
  • Participating in the development of pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Negotiating with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions and other functions.
  • Interacting with the customers in regards to their preferences and getting to know their needs and wants.
  • Dealing with customer’s request, complaints and trying best to exceed their expectation.
  • Arrivals room allocation and managing the hotel room inventory to avoid complimentary upgrades and services.
  • Maintaining Guest History System and updating of guest profiles for future references.
  • Eye track on Membership Enrollment, promotions and offers and incentives and providing proper training to the staff to achieve the set target.
  • Co-coordinating with the group coordinator or Host as and when group in-house and responsible for the final billing as per the services avail.
  • Maintaining regular contacts with all customers in order to build strong business relationship.
  • Ensure all legal documentation for in-house guest are met (identity proof, C-Forms, TA voucher etc)
  • Ensure all request for account to company have written authorization, and comply with the hotel credit policy.
  • Training staff in all areas like computer system, balancing of shift, day to day operation and customer service. Also conducting regular check upon standard and procedures that needs to be followed.
  • Motivates and guides the team members in the execution of their duties to maximize the operational efficiency of the department.
  • To continuously monitor, review, update and revise all departmental hotel standards to ensure that services are kept relevant to guests’ requirements.
  • Dealing with the staff request like annual leaves, vacation and duty roster etc.
  • Coordinating with the Finance/Housekeeping/Food n Beverage team for smooth functioning to ensure guest comfortness.
  • Coordinating with the security dept. to ensure all rules and procedures are being followed for safety and security of guest and their belongings.
