• Generating Trading & Investment calls using Chart patterns, Candle sticks, Moving Average and Multi Time - frame analysis.

• Analysis of positions in the Futures & Options segment by studying the changes in the Open Interest (OI) and the Option Chain for the given underlying.
• Identifying Long / short opportunities and Option buying / selling depending on data, technical setup and market setup.

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT & HANDLING

• Analysis of clients existing portfolio.
• Decisions of fund allocation to various sectors / companies.
• Decisions related to rebalancing, fresh investments, accumulation or sale.

FUNDAMENTAL & QUARTERLY RESULT ANALYSIS

Analyzing the following financials :

• Cash Flow statement
• Profit and loss statement
• Balance sheet
• Ratio analysis
• Status of projects under execution
• Segment Reporting and other critical developments in the company.

as it helps to understand the operational difficulties of the business and the counter measures taken by the management helps to understand the ability and credibility of the management.

Business Management
Decision oriented wherein major issues considered were:

• New client dealings and negotiations ensuring it's a win - win case for parties involved. Negotiations in lease rentals, escalations, extension of lease term, providing solutions for various client grievances.
• Decisions in relation to continuation or shut down of operations citing breach of contractual terms.
• Helping businesses facing financial crunch due to COVID related lockdowns through concessions, staggered payment options, etc.
• Discussions with bankers for sanctioning of fresh loans and restructuring of existing loans

Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (NCLT Proceedings):

• Interpretation of agreements to analyze relationship between Group Co. and Corporate Debtor, nature of transactions and their implications.
• Calculation and enhancement of claims on the basis of available documentary evidence, legal / professional opinions and management decisions.
• Discussions, arguments and counter arguments with the team of Insolvency Resolution Professional.

Routine tasks:

• Monitoring daily cash inflows / outflows and updating bank balances.
• Ensuring sufficient funding is maintained in various bank accounts for salaries, utility payments, professional fees, vendor payments, taxes, Loan EMI's, etc.
• Preparing cash flow statements & closing of books of accounts.
• Ensuring proper and timely compliance of Direct / Indirect taxes and withholding of taxes.

Assessment:

• Preparing submissions for assessments before tax authorities.
• Representing before tax officers, handling their queries and ensuring timely completion and closure of assessment cases.(Scrutiny / Appeal / Departmental Audit / Investigation / Informative) (GST / VAT / Service Tax)

Team Handling:

• Direct reporting to owners.
• Dealing with auditors, professionals, advocate & legal counsel, vendors, Business partners, Tax officers, stakeholders.
• Directly handling team of 6 people and dealing with 15-20 people daily. Handling 30-50 calls daily of varied works.
• Delegating work and responsibilities among team members considering their individual strengths, accountability ethics, and competencies.

GOODS & SERVICES TAX

• GST registration, transition from erstwhile VAT / Service tax / Central sales tax regime of Private Limited Companies, Partnership firms (including LLP's), MSME's.
• Monthly GST return filing compliance.
• Computation of liability and credit available.
• Reconciliation of TCS credit & filing of TCS returns for E-commerce supplier.
• Creation & modification of Chart of Accounts.
• GST Annual filings & Audit compliances.

INCOME TAX

• Managed entire accounting cycle including gathering information, data entry, closing books of accounts and preparation of Cash Flow statement, Profit and loss account & Balance sheet.
• Collect information and gather necessary paperwork to determine eligibility for additional tax credits or deductions prior to preparing tax returns.
• Consulted with clients to assess and mitigate future tax liabilities.
• Prepared tax returns for HNI's holding senior & prominent positions like VP, Partner, Senior Managing Partner, Compliance Officer, etc.
• Handled more than 140 Individual Tax filings, 35 Partnership Firms & 8 Private Limited Companies (with MAT calculations) per tax season.

INTERNAL CONTROLS & ADMIN WORK

• Tracked financial progress by conducting quarterly and yearly reviews and investigated variances to financial plans and forecasts.
• Reviewed accounting structures and procedures on regular basis to identify areas in need of improvement. (on-site evaluations)
• Coordinated with auditors on annual audits ensuring compliance for clients.
• Designed program and maintenance plans to monitor product inventories.
