eConnect is Posten strategic integration concept and includes technology, policies and methodologies that follow the principles of centralized integration and loose connections between applications.

The eConnect application is Integration platform for integration of different disparate and heterogeneous systems of Posten and Bring. This includes both synchronous and asynchronous communication.

Following points describe the scenario in which eConnect applications is generally used:

· Implementation of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) services.

· Publication of change of master data. The systems are defined as master for basic data,

will publish changes in the data to systems that subscribe to these.

· Conversion or mapping of data published from one system to another.

· Act as Technology Bridge between technologies. For example, between AQ and webservice.

Verizon vSAP convergence is an implementation project with multiple phases. The objective of this project is to develop and build a single integrated system in SAP. This will enable Verizon to re-organize the business processes and bring all developments under the vSAP environment. This also includes the usage of the built-in interface framework and object-oriented approach in handling all developments. There are more than 50 partner systems to integrate to vSAP system. VSII is the middleware used to route and orchestrate these partner systems with the SAP systems. The communication between external partner with sap and from sap to partners is mentioned as Inbound and Outbound Services respectively.

Thomson Reuters is a global information company providing indispensable information tailored for professionals in the financial services, media and corporate markets.CRM 6 is aimed at improving and integrating all the CRM systems within Thomson Reuters to reduce operational cost. To enable Sales users to perform all the order processing activities from quotes to invoicing using a single system and improve the turnaround time. Oracle fusion middleware has been used to integrate different CRM systems like Siebel, Sales Force (SFDC), TOM, SAP and custom mainframe application with the use of adapters like MQ and AQ.
