Frontal impact setting and Analysis for SmallOverLap: Scope of this project is to evaluate the structural intrusion for the given frame vehicle (King Cab). Model is prepared asper provided data and co-related to physical test.

In addition to structural setting Dummies are positioned as per data, Belt routing is done and injury is evaluated. Injury is not up to the target. Counter Measure study is suggested by tuning restraint system.

Full CAB deployment model, SAB model Correlation: The complete FEA model of Curtain airbag (CAB) assembly in vehicle environment is developed by meshing of airbag and its surrounding parts. Folding, positioning and relaxation of airbag are done in next step. Then deployment deck is prepared using the customer provided inflator data, materials etc.

Volume calculation of Curtain Airbag, Side Airbag: Scope of this project is to evaluate the new airbag design in terms of its volume capacity, head positions coverage. Customer (ZF) provides the bag geometry and material properties.

Folding for Passenger and Knee Airbags: Provided flat bag geometry is meshed 2D shell elements as per standards.

Stitching is done as per provided drawing and proceed for folding through a parameterized sequence of steps, i.e., scripted xml with parameters.
