Plan Sponsor Reporting (Jan 2015-Dec 2018)

• This project involved developing PySpark jobs for migrating data delivery from a data warehouse/SAS environment to Hadoop based environment and simultaneously providing data delivery solutions in the highest quality standard and custom data feeds to plan sponsor and their data vendors used for their internal needs including claim analysis, plan design review, claim substantiation and member out of pocket reimbursement.
• Requirement understanding and analysis by directly interacting with client.
• Developing and testing PySpark and hive jobs.
• Productionising and scheduling jobs using zeke.
• Determining areas of improvement and automation.
• Managed team of four in terms of work delegation and reviewing codes and providing technical help.

Healthcare Traceability sponsor (April 2014-March 2015)

• This purpose of this project was to automate the process of routing leads faster and more accurately to agent that are better suited to manage the lead and its closure. This involved incorporating agent scoring process that was performed earlier by a manual compilation of agent data. The best suited agent for a lead was chosen based on factors like location and expertise.
• Responsible for design and development of new functionality for the Application.
• Work with cross work streams, and determining solution design impacting the core frameworks and components
• Interact with clients to elicit architectural and non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, reliability, availability, maintainability.
• Converting jobs that take very long time to process into Hadoop jobs so that processing time is reduced.
