Successfully led the migration of three markets (Italy, Germany, and Spain), surpassing the expected cycle time outcome for automation rates from the current 33% to 50%.
  • Designed and implemented new workflow-based (WB) routings and automated decision-making processes to streamline new card approvals. Engineered and configured complex core business logic leveraging Java classes, data models, activities, data transforms, decision rules, SLAs, and integrations/APIs.
  • Played a key role in developing and enhancing workflow configurations to align with evolving business requirements. Integrated standardized routing logic across multiple markets, dynamically driven by external system (API) responses, resulting in improved decision accuracy and operational efficiency. This project at American Express is based on a credit application processing system that automates the end-to-end lifecycle of customer applications. The workflow includes application capture, followed by fraud checks, duplicate checks, and internal AMEX validations. Applications then proceed through bureau checks, income verification, and missing information handling.

If any required data is incomplete, the application is routed to the appropriate workbasket, and automated notifications are sent to customers. If the customer does not respond within the defined SLA period, the application is automatically cancelled or declined. For compliant applications, a global sanction screening is conducted. Final decisions approval, cancellation, or decline are driven by robust business rule logic to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
