- Investigation into a large-scale Ponzi scheme, which included establishing money trail and conducting background checks. The procedures performed involved the use of Financial Statement Analysis, Ratio Analysis & Trending Analysis along with the use of Benford’s Law and Beneish Theorem.
- Worked on suspected instance of front running in leading insurance company. I was involved in studying patterns of investments made by accused. Work also involved analyzing complete trades for selected scrip days; comparison of quantum of trades of accused with that of market; movement of prices due to trades conducted by accused; conducting ESI (Electronically Stored Information) reviews of Fund managers and Dealers to identify instances of passing of PSI (Price Sensitive Information).
- Assessment of Dealing Room controls at leading AMC and evaluating compliance with DLP Norms.
- Investigation into accounting frauds and misstatement of financials by listed company.
- Investigation on reported instance of front running in multiple PMS schemes run by private Investment Management firm. Work involved generating tests to be run on trade list; analysis of trades and personal employee trades to identify Potential Red Flag Trades; ESI reviews and assessment of dealing room controls to identify process gaps.
- Assessment and review of processes followed by one of the largest State Cricket Associations in India ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup, 2023. This was followed by communicating process gaps to client and providing immediate and long-term suggestions to plug those gaps and improve the overall process efficiency.
- Partnered with an overseas regulatory bank to conduct on field investigation into siphoning of funds from one of leading government backed banks in the country.
