Soham Mehta

I am a high school student at Jamnabai Narsee International School in Mumbai. I'm very interested in the science of physics and am keen to learn whatever I am able to about it, may it be in the field of engineering or scientific research.

-Took part in the International Youth Conference for 2 years in 2022  and 2023, earning a verbal mention in the first.

-Collaborative Science project in School wherein we built a simple robot out of Lego using ultrasonic sensors to identify objects. The robot served the purpose of being a prototype of a larger scale robot we envisioned would help reduce the involvement of manual labour in the unhygenic process of disposing fecal matter. 

-Took part in the chess tournament held during the Quintessence tournament and earned second place. 

-Played the lead role of Beast from 'Beauty and The Beast' in the Grand Cultural, an inter-house event where houses are given unique movies and tv shows and must combine them to create an enthralling play. 

-Community Service during a 5 day trip to a village in Kutch, Gujarat. We taught school kids there, refurbished some of the exterior, aided in planting plants around the school campus, fostering an environment that encourages children to interact with nature, and helped in organize a 'mela' for the villagers in which we set up stalls with games and sporting events like Tug of War.
