Scope of work for this project includes development using onsite and offshore model to work along with TRV ERA project IT team. Team is responsible for Requirement Analysis, Design, Build and Test phases of the application

Role & Contribution

• Development , enhancement and support of above BI applications
• Activities involved Cognos Transformer cube build and issue handling
• Run Monthly Support activity include Monthly briefcase run , Generating Reports for 13 regions
• Create and run batch files for Creating PDF
• Run Jobs and packages for Monthly data refresh activity

Cognos Reporting Services

BI applications provides reports of Movex ERP Solutions for multiple subsidiaries of Bio-Merieux ,French Client

Role & Contribution

• Developed various simple and complex reports
• Maintenance and support of the above BI applications.
• Activities involved data loads using BPW, data validation at each stage of ETL, adding filters on ETL(BPW) levels, compiling data models on different stages of BPW for getting correct output
• Schedule Reports to run on monthly, weekly and daily basis using Cognos scheduler.
• Distributed Reports through E-mail and uploading to folders

QlikView Services

System integrate information from different sources and the information can quickly be made available through QlikView applications which shows the overall business growth of ALFA LAVAL, Sweden

Role & Contribution

• Developing and testing the application
• Application deployment to Pre-Production and Production server
• Managing task workflows effectively by creating new tasks, editing existing ones and assigning users or user groups for task execution within the QEMC (Qlik Enterprise Management Console)
• Scheduling of QlikView applications
• Giving access for QlikView applications to users or specific user group using Active Directory
• Job Monitoring on QEMC and take corrective actions accordingly.

EMEA DBU Project

EMEA DBU provides Cognos reports to 5 subsidiaries. Development and support are the 2 main parts of the project

Role & Contribution

• Cognos Transformer cube build and issue handling
• Automation of Cognos Cubes using perl scripts
• Developing and Running Macros and Batch files for Cube, impromptu and powerplay reports updating
• Daily checks, Month End Process, Year-end Process
• Maintenance of Scheduler - Monitoring Scheduler activities and doing corrective actions.
• Enhancement activities to impromptu and powerplay reports to optimize data presentation and facilitate informed decision-making.
