• Design & detail engineering of various types of Shell and Tube heat exchangers, Boilers & Pressure Vessels complying to the design codes, applicable technical specifications & the scope of supply therein, using equipment design software
• Performing Design of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Boilers & Pressure Vessels
• Putting requirements for material through material annexure in line with different specifications
• Preparation of procurement drawing as per requirement
• Checking of Bill of material
• Detail engineering checking of GA drawings and detailed fabrication drawings
• Preparation of Design reports
• Calculation of non-standard components like Saddles, lifting lugs trunion etc based on first principles of mechanics
• Processing of DCR, NCR, As Built drawing
• Interface with departments like welding (For PTC, dissimilar material weld joints etc.), Metallurgy (for impact test/PWHT etc.), Planning (For rolling feasibility, fabrication feasibility and sequence, manufacturing schedule etc.), Purchase (For ordering material), Marketing (For Technical offer and queries)

• Interacting to other department such as NDT, Welding, Painting, Process, QA etc
