- Project Description: chalcones represent a group of compound with interesting biological activities that are formed from an aldol condensation between benzaldehyde & acetophenone in the presence of NaOH as catalyst some novel heterocyclic derivatives such as Thiazies, isoxazoles & were synthesized from various chalcones.
- The Synthesized compound have been characterized by TLC, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy.
